Viper GPS - Alerts - Security System Trigger (Early Theft Warning): obtain early indication of a possible vehicle theft by knowing when your car alarm is triggered and receive the location of the violation. - Unauthorized Movement (Early Theft Warning): automatically know when your vehicle has moved while the ignition is turned off (i.e., when being towed) and receive the location of the violation. - Battery Disconnect (Early Theft Warning): know your vehicle’s battery has been tampered with, indicating a possible theft, and receive the location. - Speed Minder: deter dangerous driving habits by knowing when your vehicle is being driven at excessive speeds (i.e., 80 mph/128 kph for greater than one minute) and receive the location, speed and direction. - Status Check: gain assurance that VIPER® GPS 210V is fully functional. VIPER® GPS 210V generates a Status Alert every thirty days. - Border Crossing: know when your vehicle has crossed the Canada-US or US-Mexico borders, indicating a possible theft, and receive the location, speed and direction. - Low Battery: know when your vehicle’s battery power has depleted to a severely low level (when the ignition is turned off) and receive the location of your vehicle. Viper GPS - Actions - Locate On Demand: locate your vehicle (i.e., late, missing, stolen, etc.) and receive its location, speed and heading. - Door Lock/ Arm: lock vehicle’s doors and arm its alarm system and receive its location. (vehicle must be equipped with power locks for this feature to activate) - Door Unlock/ Disarm: unlock vehicle’s doors and disarm its alarm system and receive its location. (vehicle must be equipped with power locks for this feature to activate) - Starter Disable (Immobilize): disable your vehicle’s starter if it is stolen and receive its location, speed and heading. The next time your vehicle’s ignition is turned off and then on, it will not start. - Starter Enable: once it is secure to do so, enable your vehicle’s starter from its disabled state. - Start Engine: start your vehicle’s engine over the web or phone and warm it up in a cold winter morning or cool it down in a hot summer afternoon. You will also receive vehicle’s location information along with the confirmation. (vehicle must be equipped with a remote car starter for this feature to activate) - Continuous Track: trace the route your vehicle is traveling by receiving the location, speed and heading every five minutes for a total of thirty minutes. Web and Telephone-Based GPS Stolen Vehicle Tracking Systems The Viper GPS 210V tracking unit is installed in a vehicle to communicate between the car and its owner. VIPER® GPS 210V combines computing intelligence, a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and a wireless communications transceiver. Please refer to the feature section for a complete list of benefits the system offers.   SERVICE PLAN: Connections are being deducted as the user performs actions or the system sends alerts and notifications. Connections for Actions, Alerts and Notifications are deducted as follows: Actions: 1 Action costs 1 Connection, except Continuous Track action which cost 7 connections. Connections are deducted only for actions that got completed. Alerts: 1 Alert costs 1 Connection. Notifications: 1 Notification costs 1 Connection. For example if an end user has a Speed Minder alert set to be forwarded to both his e-mail and cell phone that will cost him 3 connections each time the Speed Minder event happens: 1 connection for the Alert. 1 connection for the Notification to an e-mail. 1 connection for the Notification to a cell phone.
