Crime Guard's 533i4 car security
system combines personal protection, vehicle security, and convenient options in
a package that sports a hard-to-beat price tag! The 533i3 includes a dual-stage
shock sensor, starter kill relay, and two 9-function remotes, along with some
very useful features.
Every time you leave your car at the garage
or with a valet, there's a possibility that someone can code an extra
transmitter, gaining access to your vehicle. Automatic Transmitter Verification
(ATV) tells you (with a flashing LED) how many transmitters have been coded to
operate your system. If the LED tells you that more than the usual number of
remotes have been coded, simply recode your remotes to prevent potential theft.
Valet Mode turns off all the "alarm"
functions, while you still retain the use of remote convenience features (such
as keyless entry, panic mode, and the auxiliary output). A plug-in port provides
easy connection of the dual-stage shock sensor or an optional sensor.
The Vehicle Recovery feature protects
against carjacking. The process can be set off when:
someone takes your keys and starts the
car,
someone opens the door, forcing you out
of the car when it's running,
you activate it with the remote.
When the Vehicle Recovery process starts, a
code must be entered within 60 seconds, or the alarm activates — the starter
interrupt will engage 30 seconds later.
